Double drum rotary dryer is a drying device, widely used in mining equipment.It can be divided into two categories,direct and indirect heat transfer drum dryers.
Double Drum Dryer(Rotary Dryer) is a combination of advanced technology both at home and abroad .This roasting machine is mainly used to dry the limestone slag,coal powder,slag,clay stone in the production of building materiasl. It is also applied to chemical ,metallurgical and cement industries.
Operating Principle of Silica Sand Double Shell or Drum Rotary Dryer:
Wet feed is charged as a batch and is subjected to indirect heating while undergoing agitation due to the action of tumbling. The operation is normally carried out in vacuum. Recovery of solvent is possible by condensing the vapours generated during the drying operation.
In order to increase the material evenly distributed in the rotor parts of the cross section in good contact with the drying medium, in the cylinder body installation raise plates.There are several types of elevating plate.
1). Lifting type: For large or easy to bond the material in the tube wall
2).
