Our specialized subsidiaries provide a responsible industrial recycling service mainly to steel producers for whom the dusts from their electric arc furnaces are a hazardous waste for the environment. Zinc, which is used to protect car bodywork from corrosion, is transferred into the dust when it is recycled. These dusts, containing 15 to 35% zinc, are enriched in a giant rotating furnace using the Waelz process. The Waelz oxides produced are secondary raw materials for zinc producers.
Zhengzhou Hengyang Industry deploys the reliable rotary Kiln technology that successfully processes over 80% of the world’s recycled steel dust (EAF Dust). The rotary Kiln process is an established, energy-efficient and resilient technology used to treat zinc containing materials and residues.
