Hengyang Magnetic designed and manufactured Cross Belt Separators to provide industry with a reliable and extremely effective means of tramp metal extraction. The core of the Cross Belt Separator is Hengyang’s most powerful suspended plate magnet. This machine manufactured with a heavy duty frame, vulcanized rubber cleated belt and off the shelf components. The shaft mounted helical worm gear motor is available in various voltages for simple hook up installation.
Cross Belt Separators are used in the magnetic separation of ferrous materials from products to ensure a safe, metal free output. These powerful magnets are usually installed above conveyor belts, and draw the unwanted metals upwards and away from the conveyor belt to allow for uncontaminated production.
Suspended Plate Magnets are useful across many industries for extracting ferrous contaminants from production lines. Suspended plate magnets offer exceptional efficiency since they require no energy consumption and as such, will not fail in the case of power fluctuations or shut off. Hengyang’s powerful magnets are typically installed either directly above a conveyor belt line or suspended over the conveyor head pulley at the discharge point.
